This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 10am-5pm Bondi Junction NSW

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling video narratives that resonate with our upscale clientele. Your expertise in social media editing combined with your experience in longer-form content for platforms like YouTube will be essential in delivering polished, high-quality videos that reflect our brand's elevated style.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging video content that aligns with client objectives.
  • Ensure all videos maintain a sophisticated and elevated aesthetic, consistent with our brand and client standards.
  • Optimize videos for social media engagement, focusing on trends, formats, and audience preferences.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine edits and enhance the final product.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually elevate the quality of our video content.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing a mix of social media and longer-form content.
  • Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and specifications for different platforms.
  • Creative storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and pacing.
  • Experience working with high-end clients or luxury brands is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
