Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Associate Project Manager in the Public Sector, where you will be instrumental in orchestrating implementation projects that are crucial for achieving client objectives. Your responsibility will be to ensure that each project aligns with timelines, scope, and budget requirements while adhering to established project management methodologies to guarantee successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the project Statement of Work (SOW) to evaluate the schedule, budget, resource needs, and overall strategic approach.
  • Collaborate effectively with Solution Consultants to clearly define and realize project goals.
  • Manage scope expectations, communicating any changes to all stakeholders to maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients and essential personnel.
  • Prepare and present Project Change Requests in response to scope or contract modifications.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive implementation Project Plan to steer the project from inception to completion.
  • Lead bi-weekly sprint planning sessions and daily stand-up meetings with the cross-functional project team.
  • Coordinate cross-functional team activities to ensure project adherence to schedule and budget constraints.
  • Input and refresh resource and project forecasts for the team's portfolio of work.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues promptly, escalating as necessary.
  • Facilitate project planning and status meetings with clients and management.
  • Communicate project status and timelines to internal and external stakeholders through regular reporting.
  • Lead efforts to integrate custom solutions across various departments, ensuring cohesion within the overall Project Plan.
  • Define criteria for assessing project deliverables and ensure their completeness.
  • Develop, maintain, and archive project documentation in a centralized repository.
  • Proactively lead, coach, and motivate team members to foster a collaborative project environment.
  • Document and disseminate lessons learned upon project completion.
  • Engage in and contribute to internal PMO discussions.
  • Utilize lessons learned to refine project and process improvements across Professional Services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the leadership team.
