Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all construction activities and synchronize schedules with the project team.
  • Collaborate with site superintendents to devise effective construction strategies, ensuring cost-efficiency.
  • Cultivate and sustain solid relationships with clients.
  • Assess drawings and specifications, oversee project progress, and ensure adherence to contractual commitments.
  • Assist in the preparation of job estimates by interpreting bid documents.
  • Develop subcontracts and purchase orders as required.
  • Establish and manage project timelines, ensuring critical milestones are achieved.
  • Oversee the submittal and RFI process, ensuring prompt reviews and approvals.
  • Maintain project financial health by establishing budgets and reporting on costs and earnings.
  • Work with the project team to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Coordinate with management regarding resource needs to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Submit all project documentation punctually.
  • Conduct regular site visits to liaise with the project superintendent.
  • Act as the primary contact for the site superintendent and project teams.
  • Participate in on-site coordination and project meetings.
  • Support proposals and clarifications for customers and sales opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Experience in the construction procurement process.
  • Knowledge of job estimating and resource allocation.
  • Strong communication skills for report drafting and business correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction sector.
  • Capacity to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently in remote settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage).
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (must be obtained within the first 60 days if not already held).
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Compensation And Benefits
