Position Summary

We are in search of a proactive Area Sales Manager (ASM) to become an integral part of our Dynamic Sales Solution Service team. This role entails delivering strategic sales support for a diverse portfolio comprising six multi-branded hotels across Canada and the USA. This remote position reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead strategic, outbound, and proactive sales initiatives for a portfolio of six multi-branded hotels, fostering a culture of sales excellence by imparting best practices and coaching General Managers and Front Desk staff.
  • Meet revenue targets within an accelerated sales cycle of six months, ensuring exceptional returns for hotel partnerships.
  • Establish new accounts in local markets, aiming to enhance market share through intentional prospecting. Present bi-weekly sales strategy updates via MS Teams for designated hotels.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline with Salesforce CRM to streamline accounts and optimize the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with your designated team (POD) to support the Dynamic Sales Solution model and drive revenue growth across our hotel portfolio.
  • Deliver outstanding client experiences, effectively managing client expectations while maintaining high satisfaction levels through professional representation.
  • Engage in occasional travel for in-market visits to strengthen relationships with hotel owners, general managers, and teams to further sales objectives and revenue increases.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of three consecutive years of experience in hotel guestroom sales, specifically within the business transient, crew, and government segments of select service hotels.
  • Two years in a dual or area hotel sales position is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of hotel systems, RFP processes, and brand resources.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively convert prospects into revenue.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Capacity to form and maintain relationships with hotel clients and team members.
  • General knowledge of hotel operations.

Compensation And Benefits
