Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing adherence to SOC 2 Compliance in collaboration with our compliance partner, identifying, addressing, and monitoring compliance issues to maintain certification status.
  • Manage security questionnaires by closely working with internal teams to gather necessary information and provide timely, accurate responses.
  • Oversee preparations for SOC 2 audits, including the collection of evidence and coordination with auditors to implement their recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security processes that align with industry best practices.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve security and compliance processes by recommending and implementing effective solutions.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in security compliance roles, particularly with an emphasis on SOC 2 compliance and security questionnaires management.
  • In-depth understanding of SOC 2 requirements along with experience utilizing compliance platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance matters.
  • Familiarity with audit processes, including evidence collection and effective collaboration with external auditors.
  • Proactive in identifying security and compliance needs, with the ability to propose and execute effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in security compliance.
  • Proven expertise in SOC 2 requirements and managing security questionnaires.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
