Principal Solutions Consultant - SAAS Procurement Software

Position Overview:

The Principal Solutions Consultant will be responsible for engaging with prospective clients, delivering compelling software demonstrations, and managing RFP processes. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes and software, coupled with strong presentation and client engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Engage in technical and strategic discussions to address client objectives and requirements.
• Manage the RFP process, collaborating with internal teams to develop accurate, impactful responses.
• Partner closely with the sales team to support pre-sales activities and provide expert-level product knowledge.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product development and enhancements.
• Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and build client relationships.

Skills & Experience Required:

• About 10-12 years of experience in solutions consulting, preferably in procurement software or related SAAS industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, or spend management processes.
• Solid Product Presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with RFPs and technical solution positioning.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle objections
• Ability to understand business problems, contextualize and map our product offerings as per the customer's needs.
• Proficiency in procurement software solutions, ERP systems, and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as needed to client sites and industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
