Quality Control Technician

Position Overview:

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Quality Control Technician to play a key role in the manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with build process and inspection of complex circuit cards.
• Support the team with in-process and final inspections during the build process.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, & AS9102 / First Article Inspection.
• Certified or willingness to get certified to IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and J-STD-001. 
• Validate that the product meets requirements called out in the technical data package such as engineering drawings, work instructions, etc.
• Inspect for defects in PCB, PCA, and coated boards.
• Audit/ Validate product configuration records for accuracy.
• Perform process and product audits.
• Responsible for non-conforming material processes / procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with the team to resolve non-conformances and address corrective actions.
• Analyze data to identify process and performance issues, improving product quality and process efficiency.
• Support test station and fixture qualification / validation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved quality in manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to a people-first culture in alignment to HL values, demonstrating core Company values: yes if, ctrl z, etc.

What We’re Looking For:

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems, preferably TIP QA/SFE.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
• IPC Trainer Certification is highly desired.

Required Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent and training from a technical trade school or military technical school required.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of PCB/A (RF and Digital), wire/cable assemblies, and final assembly processes.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J STD-001.

Salary Range: The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $23 to $28/hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
