Overview:

INTECON, LLC is seeking a motivated Junior Project Analyst to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in advancing key strategic initiatives, with a primary focus on workforce and workplace studies. This position offers a valuable opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to engage in project management, organizational analysis, and change management. You will contribute to projects that enhance DCSA’s organizational efficiency and align with the agency's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in analyzing organizational structures and environments to develop recommendations aligned with DCSA’s strategic goals.
  • Assist with initiatives aimed at optimizing organizational design and process improvements, including facilitating relevant meetings and activities.
  • Contribute to studies that identify opportunities for improving agency operations, workforce utilization, and workplace efficiency.
  • Support change management practices to ensure smooth transitions, managing and mitigating potential impacts of organizational adjustments.
  • Provide support for significant meetings within the CSO and broader agency, including planning, scheduling, and preparing briefing materials.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and across departments to ensure project success.
  • Assist in the execution and support of cross-mission integration projects, ensuring they align with DCSA’s strategic objectives.
  • Engage in data gathering, research, and analytical tasks to support project strategies and initiatives effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Additional years of relevant experience, position-related training, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 1+ years in project analysis, project support, or a related role within the Department of Defense (DoD) sector.
  • Demonstrated capability to perform duties independently, with a strong commitment to team collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey insights clearly.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS PowerBI experience is desirable for this position.
