Overview:
The Event Services Specialist is responsible for a variety of operations in support of ISACA’s Events. Responsibilities include management of registration and housing services, event mobile apps and the vendors/technology that support those initiatives. This individual will also work closely with the Integrated Marketing team and IT team on the development and maintenance of our event websites. Additionally, they will collaborate with the internal data analysts and central processing to ensure accurate reporting for the planning and logistics of the events. Onsite management of the above items and other logistics will also be required.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Event Registration Management:
- Oversee the entire pre-event registration process, including building event forms, setting pricing and discounts, and managing ticket types.
- Execute complex setups for in-person events and provide backup support for virtual events.
Onsite Registration Oversight:
- Manage onsite registration services, including vendor management for onsite badging (RFPs, sourcing) and overall operations.
Housing Coordination:
- Maintain rooming lists, track attrition, generate pace reports, and manage communications related to staff, vendor, and VIP housing.
Event Mobile App Management:
- Oversee the event mobile app, including vendor management (RFPs, sourcing) and processes for app development, attendee communication, and support.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the integrated marketing team to ensure that event webpages are accurate, clear, and regularly updated. Collaborate with IT to enhance user experience on these pages.
- Collaborate with internal data analysts to create and maintain dashboards, reports, and templates for in-person events.
Policy Development:
- Develop, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures related to registration and housing services.
Team Participation:
- Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on registration, housing, and mobile app statuses.
- Assist the manager with budgeting for registration, housing, and mobile app services for each conference as needed.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on job knowledge through educational opportunities, reading industry publications, and participating in professional organizations.
Logistical Support:
- Provide logistical support and backup for team coordinators as assigned.

• Experience working in an event based environment

- Liberal Arts or Hospitality management
