Description

Summary: As the Grantee Support Director on the FED Innovation Program Support Project under the Office of Family Assistance (OFA) this position leads the Grantee Support Team in the coordination and provision of individualized training and technical assistance to federally funded Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood (HMRF) grantees. The position requires strong leadership, project management and communication skills.
 
Location: This position is remote in the United States, with some travel required.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provides overall direction and oversight of contract activities and deliverables related to HMRF individualized grantee support.
  • Supervise Grantee Support Team members ensuring timely deliverables and quality control.
  • Track, review, and manage contract deliverables including coordination, provision, and documentation of Grantee Support. Prepare reports as required
  • Provide strategic planning for procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to training and technical assistance.
  • Manage individualized grantee support through:
  • Engaging Experts and the Advisory Workgroup to develop data-driven and culturally responsive grantee support.
  • Coordinate with the Federal Program Specialist (FPS) and grantee to assess and meet grantee needs/requests.
  • Brainstorm creative and engaging solutions to better improve grantee performance in response to feedback from staff.
  • Facilitate meetings, webinars, and other virtual or in-person grantee support activities.
  • Develop draft Grantee Support Plans for OFA approval, monitor status of plan implementation, troubleshoot challenges, and determine next steps.
  • Provide data-informed support for the development of Grantee Advancement (Group TA) activities in collaboration with the Grantee Advancement Lead.
  • Support collaboration internally and externally with grantees and partner organizations.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree­, Masters preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of experience providing support to government agencies.
  • Five (5) years of experience in oversight of contractor activities supporting government agencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to carry out independent assignments with minimum supervision as well as serve as team lead.
  • Availability to travel as needed for conferences, roundtables and in-person site visits.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software: MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS­ Outlook, MS-PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
