Role Summary
We are looking for a strong graphic designer, with a strong emphasis on web design.
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Sophos, you'll play a fundamental role in how the Sophos brand comes to life, internally and externally. This role focuses predominantly on web graphic design, creating visually appealing designs for our global web properties. You will also apply your graphic design skills to other digital and print media projects as they come up, including social media, advertisements, brochures, and events. Your work will directly contribute to Sophos brand preference and drive business growth. This role reports to the Head of Creative.
What You Will Do Drive consistency in brand identity across everything you do. Provide brand guidance as it pertains to the website style guides. Create fresh and engaging graphic designs utilizing photography, illustration, layout, iconography, typeface, etc working within global web page templates. Create flexible designs that account for multi-lingual localization. Experience manipulating stock imagery and videos to create a distinct look and feel. Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Stays up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with UX/UI and web development teams to ensure seamless integration of design with functionality. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. Strong grasp of how design works with content management systems, SEO, and accessibility best practices. Ensure web image optimization for faster loading times, including preparation of high-resolution product imagery.Strong prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Work within an Agile method, with cross-functional teams. Liaise with agency stakeholders to provide graphic design and brand guidance, when needed. Have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback and make proactive recommendations Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns. Ability to present and articulate design ideas clearly to a wide audience in a remote or in-person setting. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsto understand project requirements and feedback. What You Will BringProven experience as a Web Graphic Designer or in a similar role. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative web design work. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field is preferred. Due to the global nature of this role, there is an ongoing requirement to participate in calls with Americas, EMEA and APJ marketing teams which may fall outside regular working hours. Core working hours 9am-5:30pm ET Occasional travel may be required up to 10% of time. In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $77,000 to $129,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
