About The Role
As a Data Engineer at Notabene, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how crypto transactions are settled globally. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the business, turning their BI requirements into impactful, data-driven insights.
In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining our data pipelines, scaling our data warehouse architecture, and ensuring data insights are optimized and scalable across the organization.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll also be instrumental in driving forward a data-driven culture at Notabene. You’ll be working closely with key stakeholders across the business providing insights will directly influence our strategic decisions as we grow, and you’ll help us transform our data into a key product offering for our customers and the broader industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using dbt, Airbyte, Redshift, and SigmaWork closely with product, engineering, and bizops/GTM teams to gather data requirements, setup dashboards and generate critical insightsBuild a data engineering function from scratch, including leading a high-performing data team as the business scalesPromote a data culture at Notabene and embed data-driven decision-making across the companyEnsure data governance and security practices are in place, especially around high-security PII dataMonitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data infrastructure and pipelines to ensure performance and scalabilityWhat you bring to Notabene8+ years working in data engineeringProven experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data infrastructure (Airbyte, Redshift, Sigma preferred)Strong experience working with dbt core/cloudBusiness savvy and capable of interfacing with finance, revenue and ops leaders to build our business intelligenceProven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing data teamsExpertise in data governance, best practices, and data security, especially related to PIIProficiency in SQL and Python and with experience working in AWSStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a global, remote-first companyExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departmentsIf you strongly believe this role is for you, please apply.
