Lawyer (Legal and Compliance officer)

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Lawyer (Legal and Compliance officer).

We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting legal documents (contracts, policies, terms&conditions, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with global gambling regulations in different jurisdictions
• Monitoring the changing regulations and aligning policies and processes with new requirements
• Conducting regular audits of policies and processess in the company to assess compliance and identify areas of improvement
• Overseeing the incorporation of new companies and their further supervision
• Collaborating with middle leadership and coordinate with relevant departments to monitor and enforce standards and regulations
• Maintain comprehensive records and registries of compliance activities, incidents, and outcome
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on compliance issues, violations, and necessary corrective actions
• Assessing the effectiveness of controls and implementing continuous improvements

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Russian and English at a minimum level of B2
• The degree in law
• At least 3 years of professional experience
• Experience in KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures
• Familiarity with data protection regulations is advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management
• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
• Background in delivering training or operational support is preferred
