Job description

Business Analyst
Location: Remote.
Salary: $80-120k

Sabot Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record in the implementation of branded templates, creating document repositories, a maintaining business processes. The Business Analyst will support the enhancement of operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and align IT processes with industry best practices. This position will have a strong focus on business process reengineering, procedural inventory building associated work plans. This role requires expertise in business analysis methodologies, requirements elicitation, business process optimization, and tool configuration efforts, creating new materials as needed in various formats. 

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes and workflows, identifying pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed process maps, flowcharts, use cases, user stories, and other visual aids to illustrate current and future state process designs.
  • Assist with post-implementation validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Improve business processes and procedures in initial focus areas of Human Resources and Executive Offices.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and the implementation vendor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making among all parties involved.
Must Have:
  • At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years working as a Business Analyst with large organizations, leading or participating in business process analysis, and or business process re-engineering.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience producing business analysis deliverables such as business requirements, use cases, functional specifications, and traceability matrices.
  • At least three (3) years of experience using requirement gathering tools like Rational Requisite Pro, HP ALM, or Jama Software.
  • IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP or CCBA) or PMI-PBA.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related fields from an accredited University or Collegiate Institution. 

Nice to have:
  • Experience as a Business Analyst with the State or Federal government.
  • 10 to 15 years conducting business process analysis or business process re-re-engineering. 
  • Experience in Agile project management methodology or Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Masters in Business Administration degree.
