As a Network Architect (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the conception, planning and implementation of complex network and communication solutions, both for our customers and for our internal data center services.
These exciting tasks await you:
- Design and planning of network architectures (solution design) for customer projects, including the creation of solution concepts, network plans and the definition of necessary hardware and software components
- Technical provider and partner management (e.g. Cisco, Riverbed, Fortinet), including cooperation with service providers for the provision of WAN connections (e.g. VPN, MPLS, Internet)
- Support of the presales team in the preparation of offers and calculations as well as participation in customer meetings
- Technical responsibility for WAN, LAN, WLAN and firewall services, including the introduction of new products and training for sales and technical teams
Your profile:
- In-depth experience in the planning and implementation of complex network architectures and passive infrastructures
- Experience in dealing with providers and partners in the network sector
- Knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN technologies, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet) and authentication methods (e.g. 802.1.x, Cisco Identity Service Engine)
- Expertise in the common routing protocols
- Know-how of the Citrix ADC NetScaler & Cisco WSA solution as well as routing and switching in SDN Cisco ACI are desirable
- ITIL know-how is desirable
- Entrepreneurial thinking, independent way of working and very high service orientation
- Very good German and good English skills
