Job description

This is a remote position.

Required Skills:

Mandatory Requirements  
Copies of degrees or certification must be uploaded into the appropriate location under Requested Information in Bonfire in order to submit your response
1. Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response. 
2. Post-Secondary degree majoring in computer science, software development, business computing, or management information systems.  A copy of the degree shall be provided with the response.

Skill and Experience
  • 10 years’ experience in an Analyst role implementing clinical information systems in a healthcare environment.  The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 10 years.
  • 7 years’ experience developing and designing logical and physical data models and physical databases designed to store patient and healthcare information. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 7 years.
  • 5 years’ experience developing electronic reporting using Crystal Reports or another similar business intelligence application. Experience should include the elicitation of requirements, development of specifications, and actual implementation of the reports. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.
  • 5 years’ experience developing, designing and building interface solutions using the Health Level 7 (HL7) to integrate healthcare information systems.  The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst implementing Public Health Surveillance and Monitoring Information Systems on a provincial scale. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.
  • 3 years’ experience implementing the Panorama Health Information system on a provincial scale. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years.
  • 1 year of experience working on Indigenous/First Nations based projects. Experience should include meeting with Indigenous/First Nations stakeholders to gather requirements and process mapping.  The Response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.
