We are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager for our office in Brazil.

In this role, you will build and maintain client relationships, develop long-term trust, and manage post-sales activities, ensuring smooth onboarding, adoption, and contract renewals. You will collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and support teams to drive customer success.


As a Cognyter you will:

  • Identify sales opportunities in the Public Safety sector (Police and other government agencies)
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Police and Public Prosecutor's Offices
  • Present Cognyte’s data analysis and security solutions, tailoring presentations to client needs
  • Prepare and negotiate sales proposals and contracts
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery
  • Create and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Track project progress to meet deadlines and costs
  • Define and monitor sales targets aligned with business objectives
  • Report to the Brazilian Business Unit on activities, budgets, and business risks



Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

  • Based in São Paulo – SP.
  • Availlable to travel 60% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in security technology or software
  • Established relationships in Brazil's Public Safety sector (Military and Civil Police, Public Prosecutor's Office)
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Experience with government sales and regulations (e.g., Laws 8666 and 14.133, PPPs)
  • Familiarity with sales processes like Meddic or SPIN
  • Fluent in English
