OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for English into Simplified Chinese Patent translator, who have strong experience of patent content.

This is an on-going freelance and remote position.

Project Details

Job Title: English into Chinese Patent Translator

Location: Remote

Expected Volume: +5000 words per week

Start date: ASAP

Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract

Task type: Translation, Copy Edit (proofreading)

Content types: "Computer Science","Electricity"

CAT Tool: XTM

Main Duties:

Translate and edit content from English into Simplified Chinese with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.

Working with "XTM", Welocalize will provide the credentials without any cost.

Required Skills:

At least 2-years' experience in Chinese patent-translation（至少两年专利翻译经验）

Formal higher education in IT, Electricity, Computer Science fields.（有计算机相关专业背景）

Good at using CAT Tools, such as XTM, Trados etc.（可以使用CAT tool）

Good communication skill. （良好的沟通能力）
