Project Overview:
We're seeking an experienced HIL Testing Engineer to join our automotive team in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute HIL tests for automotive electronic control units (ECUs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements
- Develop test automation scripts using Python, C, or M-script
- Integrate models developed in MATLAB/SIMULINK with HIL testing platforms
- Troubleshoot and debug issues during HIL testing
- Analyze and report test results
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
Mandatory skill:
- 3-6 years of experience in HIL testing, automotive industry, or related field
- Programming skills: Python, C, or M-script
- Knowledge of model-based development tools: MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Experience with test automation tools: ECU-Test
- Familiarity with communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI
- Diagnostic management experience: CANalyzer, CANoe
- HIL testing experience: Vehicle integration and validation
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skill:
- Experience with other programming languages (C++, Java)
- Knowledge of automotive protocols/frameworks (AUTOSAR, OSEK)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Certification in HIL testing or automotive engineering
