Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager with expertise in the nightlife hospitality industry to oversee and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives for our Central London lounge. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-capacity bars, restaurants, or lounges, and a proven ability to increase footfall, boost sales, and develop brand presence within the competitive nightlife scene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive revenue across food, beverage, and shisha offerings.
  • Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, influencers, and event organizers to secure large group bookings, private events, and VIP experiences.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize guest experiences and sales opportunities.
  • Marketing Strategy:
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, and offline) to increase brand visibility and attract new clientele.
  • Manage the venue’s social media presence, including content creation, community management, and influencer partnerships.
  • Oversee paid advertising efforts, SEO, email marketing, and promotions, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Event Planning:
  • Plan, coordinate, and market special events, themed nights, and seasonal promotions to draw large crowds and enhance the venue’s reputation.
  • Work with third-party promoters to create and execute weekly or monthly events, ensuring alignment with the brand image and goals.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including collaborations with local businesses, tourism boards, and luxury service providers.
  • Attend networking events and industry functions to promote the venue and establish new partnerships.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the venue’s management team to align marketing strategies with operational capabilities.
  • Provide training and support to staff on sales techniques and customer engagement.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality sector, specifically in bars, restaurants, lounges, or nightclubs.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in a high-capacity venue and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the nightlife and hospitality landscape in London, with strong networks and connections in the industry.
  • Experience promoting venues that offer food, drinks, and shisha is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and event management software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to execute campaigns that set the venue apart from competitors.
  • Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential if experience is exceptional).
