Job description

Summary

The Sr. Manager of Sales and Marketing operations is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives within Salesforce, and Pardot as well as supporting technologies.  

Successful candidates will be highly experienced in deploying complex Salesforce and Pardot initiatives.   They’ll have a balance of experience in technical and strategic engagements. They’ll consult with key stakeholders within the organization and develop strategies and their associated implementation.  These initiatives will include marketing, sales, as well as customer success.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • DiscoverAssess business requirements to design architecturally sound solutions. Lead and run projects to support the company's business objectives. Consistently juggle multiple projects concurrently. Bring best practices and technical knowledge to every project. 
  • Lead: Ability to not only drive highly specialized and complex Salesforce and Pardot projects but also bring others along the way. Help the organization transform the way we market, sell, and support customers.  Keep stakeholders including developers, designers, and other team members on task and on time.  
  • CollaborateFacilitate collaboration with the team to ensure that business requirements are met. Listen to and gather requirements. Work with the team to determine the best solution and build the solution in collaboration with teammates.  
  • Be the Expert: Provide subject matter expertise and overall best practices on the use of Pardot and Salesforce. Stay up to speed on the latest features. Drive a project from kick-off through completion, ensuring all parties are aligned project objectives are met and deliverables are provided on time and on budget. Train the team on solutions that you’ve designed and implemented. 
  • Relationship BuildAct as a trusted advisor within the organization. Drive strategic engagements, guiding stakeholders through the solution implementation process. Execute strategic workshops for clients and recommend strategic direction for engagements. Identify new opportunities and technologies to help the company meet its goals.  
  • Operate:  Execute day-to-day tasks within the platform. Research solutions to challenges you encounter along the way. 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements 

  • Experience: 5+ years of Pardot and Salesforce experience. Consultant certifications in Salesforce and Pardot are ideal. 
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of Pardot and Salesforce functionality.  Understanding of system integration as well as technology stacks. 
  • Organization: Strong configuration experience as well as project management.  
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of sales, marketing, marketing processes, and reporting best practices. ABM and mass marketing project experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required.  

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with federal, state, and local standards. 
  2. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  3. Might be exposed to prolonged sedentary hours of work and use of a computer.

The annual salary for this role is currently $120,000.00-$140,000.00. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members.  The salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, at the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
