J.E. Brown & Associates seeks a motivated candidate for our Regional Sales Manager opportunity in the Southwestern region.
Marketing & Sales – Solicit, establish, and maintain rapport with prospective and assigned retail agents to secure new and renewal business as well as participate in USLI’s 50/50 Sales training program.
This is a hybrid outside sales role requiring in-person and virtual agent visits in Arizona and surrounding areas. We are excited to provide training and development for this opportunity. The candidate will need to be located near a major metropolitan area in Arizona

The firm specializes in offering small business and personal lines property and casualty insurance products to customers in the western United States, primarily in California.

What You Will Do
Solicit, screen, appoint and train new agents
Make a combination of in-person and virtual sales calls four out of five days a week.
Collect and analyze data for implications regarding direction of territory.
Establish and maintain rapport with agents
Follow-up and secure new and renewal business
Resolve agent problems
Assist J.E. Brown underwriters to place business; follow up on quoted accounts
Establish and achieve agent production goals
Collects and analyzes data for implications regarding direction of territory.
Perform other duties as assigned
Pursue a course of personal and professional development
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree
Self-motivated, independent personality with the ability to work with little supervision
Excellent time management skills
Positive and energetic phone demeanor
Proficiency with MS Office – particularly excel
High level of integrity
Team player mentality
Problem solving skills and professional conduct
Ability to establish and build relationships
P&C insurance license within 90 days of employment
This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
