The Role:

As a AWV Nurse Practitioner at Greater Good Health, you'll be at the heart of our mission to provide exceptional care to our senior Medicare patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting annual wellness visits primarily at the patient's residence, supplemented by visits in-clinic, or via telehealth.
  • Thoroughly documenting medical histories, symptoms, and medication information.
  • Administering various tests and screenings.
  • Collaborating with our Primary Care team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Ensuring timely completion of patient records, with access to electronic medical records and portals.
  • Providing patient education on preventive care and prescribed treatments.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations.


What You Can Expect:

This is a full-time Nurse Practitioner position, offering a 5-day workweek with a schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.

Experience And Qualifications

  • A current Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
  • Nurse Practitioner certification from either the ANCC or AANP
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP in fields like Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gerontology, or Palliative Care (Home care experience is a plus)
  • Working knowledge of chronic care management and various medication options
  • A current DEA licensure with Prescriptive Authority post-hire
