Application Migration in AWS (REMOTE)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the migration of on-premises applications to the AWS cloud using AWS Server Migration Service and AWS MigrationHub. - Provide technical guidance and support for AWS ECS and AWS EKS to ensure efficient container management.
• Implement AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices to optimize cloud infrastructure. - Manage data migration processes using AWS DataSync and AWS DMS to ensure seamless data transfer.
• Configure and maintain AWS Storage Gateway to enable hybrid cloud storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable cloud solutions.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud environments.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on AWS technologies and best practices.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively address potential issues to maintain high availability.

Salary And Other Compensation

This position is accepting applicants until 11/14/2024

The annual salary for this position is between [$88,200] - [$139,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
