Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and passionate Remote Claims Examiner specializing in Commercial Property to enhance our team. This pivotal role involves the investigation, assessment, negotiation, and resolution of assigned claims while adhering to client-specific guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your knowledge in estimating and collaborate effectively using Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
  • Execute comprehensive investigations in line with established claim handling protocols and industry best practices.
  • Make judicious decisions regarding the denial, settlement, or authorization of payments for intricate property claims, factoring in coverage, field reports, and verified damages.
  • Communicate and gather essential information from insureds, claimants, vendors, carriers, witnesses, public adjusters, and attorneys through interviews, calls, and correspondence.
  • Establish suitable reserves for each claim.
  • Record statements as needed.
  • Analyze and evaluate complex property claims to ensure proper coverage and handling procedures, reaching conclusions within mandated time frames.
  • Interpret insurance policy language and assess coverage concerns across diverse policies and endorsements.
  • Manage diaries, emails, and voicemails efficiently.
  • Draft technical claim documents and correspondence.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on the findings of investigations.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in property claims management.
  • Proficient in Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
  • Strong writing skills, particularly in policy interpretation.
  • Demonstrated competence in managing complex property claims.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities with a proven capacity to work independently.
