We are a forward-thinking, small business located in the Washington, DC area, committed to providing outstanding services across multiple sectors. Established in 2011, we initially concentrated on acquisition and supply chain management services for the US Coast Guard. Over the years, our expertise has expanded to encompass infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. Our diverse and growing clientele includes commercial entities as well as agencies from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

We are currently seeking a Salesforce Product Owner to join our team remotely. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing our Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in government environments and demonstrate exceptional skills in serving as an effective liaison between users and the Scrum team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Product Owner, articulating and prioritizing the product backlog to align with business objectives and user needs.
  • Utilize your experience in government projects to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Act as the primary intermediary between users and the Scrum team, converting user requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Actively participate in Agile practices, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within the Scrum team.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Keep detailed documentation of product features, user stories, and project advancements.
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with security standards and assist in obtaining necessary clearances.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience serving as a Product Owner, with specialized knowledge in Salesforce Service Cloud and government projects.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Proficient in Salesforce Service Cloud and familiar with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, are preferred.
  • Familiarity with other project management methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects within a government context.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position is \(112,800 - \)140,000, which may vary based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
