Job Title: Bilingual Associate Attorney - Criminal Law - Remote

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients during court hearings, bond matters, plea negotiations, and status conferences.
  • Draft compelling legal documents, including pretrial intervention requests, grand jury packets, and appellate briefs.
  • Manage cases with a degree of autonomy while benefiting from supervisory guidance when needed.
  • Conduct client consultations and provide informed legal advice regarding plea offers and options.
  • Engage with prospective clients via phone, Zoom, and occasional in-person meetings, successfully converting leads into clients.
  • Participate actively in ongoing training, coaching, and weekly team meetings to enhance professional skills.

Required Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in criminal law, whether in prosecution or defense.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong dedication to continuous professional development.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Willingness to make court appearances throughout Texas.
