Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and capable Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of leading teams and driving impactful projects to successful completion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and closure of designated projects, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and excellence in deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the management of software projects focused on cloud technologies and micro-services within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams while cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, management plans, and baselines to align with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor project performance, handle change requests, and keep stakeholders informed about progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively with product owners and stakeholders to produce necessary documentation.
  • Assemble and coordinate project personnel within a matrixed organization, working alongside business analysts and technical writers to define requirements.
  • Ensure thorough project closure, confirming that deliverables meet established scope and are formally accepted.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for cross-cultural and customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in crafting project management documentation, including plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Kanban.
  • Strong leadership capabilities coupled with extensive knowledge of business and resource management within a matrixed structure.
  • Familiarity with process enhancement through Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise IT projects and cloud technologies, notably AWS and Microsoft Azure, in a multi-tenant setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Experience working with government entities, adeptly managing competing priorities while leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • At least three years of experience in defining cloud migration project goals aligned with enterprise initiatives.
