Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Manager With 4-8+ Years Of Experience In Public Accounting, Primarily Focused On Real Estate Tax, Your Contributions Will Include

  • Reviewing and managing tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations for various entity types, with an emphasis on real estate.
  • Overseeing financial statement reviews, accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and client record management.
  • Preparing and reviewing intricate tax planning projections for individual and corporate tax obligations.
  • Ensuring timely completion of client deliverables and effectively managing deadlines.
  • Preparing or reviewing complex U.S. and state individual income, gift, and estate tax returns.
  • Conducting comprehensive tax research and documenting findings.
  • Responding to inquiries, audits, and notices from IRS and state agencies.
  • Directly communicating with clients, colleagues, and IRS representatives regarding tax matters.
  • Leading your team in mastering software solutions, processes, and operational workflows.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 4-10+ years of relevant experience in Real Estate Tax compliance and advisory.
  • A robust background in individual tax compliance and planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of subchapter K and experience providing guidance to real estate investment trusts.
  • Familiarity with tax research tools (RIA) and experience in gift, estate, and trust returns (a plus).
  • Experience in partnership tax (a plus).
  • An engaging, amicable demeanor and a collaborative approach.
