Job Overview

Join our esteemed company as an Integration Lead API in a remote work setting, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative applications within a dynamic LINUX and RedHat OpenShift environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead technical initiatives while expanding your expertise in the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Act as the Technical Lead, fostering collaboration among Application Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and Subject Matter Experts to devise effective solutions for scheduled software releases.
  • Partner with API Developers and Team Leads to deliver robust features via reusable RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Design, implement, and maintain API solutions with a keen focus on security, authentication, identity management, and performance analytics.
  • Assist in the creation of APIs that comply with our established core standards.
  • Employ Object-oriented Analysis and Design principles to develop customized solutions.
  • Utilize your expertise in KAFKA to establish data integration patterns that ensure successful product implementations.
  • Engage with API Gateways, CDNs, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to optimize performance.
  • Manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle, along with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB in both cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Design cloud-agnostic custom solutions on the AWS platform.
  • Leverage programming skills in C, C#, Python, Angular, and WSDL to build integrations with various external services.
  • Write and modify complex stored procedures and queries as required.
  • Prepare effective test data and functional specifications, and execute test scripts to ensure quality delivery while addressing code issues promptly.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced Agile/SCRUM environment, continuously learning new tools and technologies to adapt to evolving priorities.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, engineering, or architecture, with a strong background in containerization (Docker or similar) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system installation, configuration, and maintenance; Red Hat AMQ experience is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with OpenShift containerization.
  • Familiarity with Splunk for system logs and dashboard development is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing both relational databases and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and DynamoDB, in cloud and on-premise settings.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation range for this role is between \(108,500 - \)155,000 annually. Please note that the specific base pay offered may vary based on geographic location, internal equity, and individual qualifications. Additionally, full-time salaried employees are eligible for a generous vacation policy, 401(k) employer matching, and comprehensive health benefits.
