Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a thorough review of accounting records, prepare necessary adjusting entries, and compile comprehensive workpaper files.
  • Accurately prepare federal and state tax returns (1065, 1040, 1041) with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Develop comprehensive tax projections and estimate calculations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting, manage personal property tax, and ensure timely business license reporting.
  • Engage in tax research as required to effectively address challenges arising during preparation.
  • Foster a collaborative team atmosphere through open and effective communication.
  • Comply with established procedures, regulations, and laws while identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experienced with UltraTax software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation.

Qualifications
