Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Overview:
As a Billings Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing processes and ensuring the accuracy of billing operations through Tekton software. This role involves handling client accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating with the finance team to optimize billing procedures.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all billing procedures and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Generate, review, and process invoices using Tekton software, ensuring accurate and timely billing for all clients.
  • Collaborate with account managers to resolve billing discrepancies, answer client queries, and address billing-related issues.
  • Monitor client accounts for overdue payments, issue payment reminders, and coordinate with collections when necessary.
  • Generate and analyze billing reports, identifying areas for process improvement or potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, adjustments, and client communications within Tekton.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling billing and revenue accounts as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Billings Administrator, Billing Specialist, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Tekton billing software is essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret billing data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry, processing, and reporting.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
