Key Responsibilities

• Lead and advance our finance and accounting functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Formulate and implement financial plans to foster profitable growth, market development, and optimal product strategies.
• Manage the annual budgeting cycle and long-term financial forecasts, tracking performance and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and ensure adherence to GAAP.
• Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, deploying strategies to protect assets and capitalize on market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and investment evaluations to propel business growth.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the parent company for all financial reporting, audits, and tax inquiries.
• Lead and inspire the finance and accounting team while promoting professional development and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Manage the financial audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Work with external partners for the timely and accurate submission of tax filings.
• Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies and long-term planning initiatives.
• Maintain strong communication with the parent company regarding financial matters, providing valuable strategic insights.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Prophix and NetSuite (ERP) is essential.
• A background in the baby gear, soft goods, or hard goods sectors is preferred.
