As our next Procurement Sustainability Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of reducing carbon emissions in our value chain through our industry-leading supplier engagement program, growing your expertise as we progress on this journey together.

About the Role

You’ll be a key player in Hempel’s procurement sustainability initiatives, handling our Procurement Sustainability Screening program and nurturing impactful partnerships. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Supplier Assessments: Lead comprehensive evaluations of supplier sustainability practices, analyze results, and identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborative Dialogues: Drive supplier-focused sustainability sessions, encouraging collaborative opportunities and crafting lasting impact.
  • Strategic Screening Coordination: Supervise all phases of the screening process, from supplier invitations to final category reporting.
  • Collaborator Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal collaborators and suppliers to champion balanced practices.

Join a dynamic team of 50 dedicated Group Procurement professionals, working closely with our Procurement Sustainability Manager at Hempel HQ in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. Together, we’re crafting a more balanced future.

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • A relevant degree, with 3–4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sustainability
  • A passion for sustainability in a commercial setting, with hands-on stakeholder and project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, for our global environment
