Technical Security Consultant

The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.

The Technical Security Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding our organization on all security-related topics. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of operations and development within legacy data centers and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with additional expertise in OTC and FCI being a plus. This role requires a deep understanding of technical architectures, the ability to solve complex problems, and the capacity to communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consulting: Provide expert advice on all security-related topics within the organization, including DT IT, Group, and Suppliers.
2. Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to other teams within the organization.
3. Leadership: Lead technical streams and initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of security measures.
4. Dependency Management: Explain dependencies and relationships within systems and applications, ensuring compliance and security.
5. Problem Solving: Address and resolve upcoming security issues and challenges, particularly within microservice-based architectures.
6. Communication: Effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to a wide audience, including the preparation and presentation of management-level PowerPoint presentations.
7. Security Strategy: Build the technical foundation to achieve given security goals or strategies, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of global security solutions and products.

1. Knowledge about security, security architecture and way to implement them.
2. Knowledge about regulations (NIS2, KRITIS,  ISO, SOC, et. al.) and processes.
3. Extensive knowledge of operations and development within legacy data centers and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); experience with OTC and FCI is a plus.
4. Strong understanding of technical architectures and the ability to solve complex security problems.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions to a diverse audience.
6. Proven ability to lead technical streams and guide teams towards successful security implementations.
7. Experience in preparing and presenting information to management.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.

Short Business Trip (couple of days per year) can be expected.
