Job Overview

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our remote team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our daily operations. In this influential position, you will oversee diverse administrative functions and direct vital operational sectors at both management and fund levels. By collaborating closely with senior leadership, external vendors, and partners, you will support essential business operations, including strategic planning, finance, human resources, and stakeholder engagement. This role reports directly to the Managing Partner, offering you a distinctive chance to acquire hands-on experience in the private equity sector while contributing to our firm's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and administration of fund operations in collaboration with senior management and external partners to drive success.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive workflows and processes across the firm to improve productivity and team efficiency.
  • Provide general oversight of vendor partners and engage with them effectively.
  • Support financial operations by working with external accounting leads and fund administration teams, including tasks such as accounts reconciliation and corporate filings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to private equity fund management and coordinate with legal counsel for contract management.
  • Lead the human resources function, focusing on onboarding, employee benefits, and establishing talent management processes.
  • Coordinate key events such as investment committee meetings and board meetings, while providing administrative support to senior management as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with senior management, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams, executives, investors, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, financial reports, and private equity finance.
  • Basic knowledge of regulations related to private equity, contract management, and employment law.
  • Attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
