The IAM Team

Okta’s Customer Identity Cloud (CIC), powered by Auth0 technology, is an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers.  We make access to applications safe, secure, and seamless for the more than 100 million daily logins around the world. Our modern approach to identity enables this Tier-Ø global service to deliver convenience, privacy, and security so customers can focus on innovation.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role will be responsible for collaborating with key partners and stakeholders to create the roadmap for Okta’s AI integrations. In this role, you will be responsible for working to take a vision and translate that into a deliverable roadmap. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Leading and growing a healthy, inclusive, collaborative team rooted in the opportunities they create for customers
  • Ensuring each team member deepens their skills through coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Working with Product and Design to build the roadmap for Okta’s AI Integration efforts within CIC 
  • Regularly meet with partners and stakeholders to ensure that delivery remains unblocked and on-track
  • Ensuring that the team has what they need to contribute to their work
  • As required, working on stories, tasks, and bugs with your team

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Experience leading and working with globally distributed teams
  • Knowledge of know to build and maintain highly scalable and secured APIs
  • Strong technical experience working in high-stakes, high-value environments
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills 

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 

  • AI integrations with third party services and providers (AI/ML knowledge itself is not needed)
  • Cloud-native technologies
  • OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect, SAML

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:
$139,000$209,000 CAD
