Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, secure, and efficient code for cloud-based distributed systems.
Design, implement, test, debug, and document new and existing components, ensuring they meet business, quality, and operational needs.
Participate in code and solution design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and optimal performance.
Collaborate with the team in Agile ceremonies to estimate, plan, design, and execute tasks, contributing to successful sprint outcomes.
Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues.
Contribute to the architecture and design of secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Provide support for production deployments and ongoing platform maintenance as part of the end-to-end platform ownership.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience in delivering highly available and scalable cloud-based distributed systems in a production environment.
Strong expertise in using AWS platforms and services such as ECS, Serverless Lambdas, SQS, SNS, and Kinesis.
Proficient in working with databases like MySQL and DynamoDB, including optimizing queries for performance.
Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Excellent technical problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
