We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently developing precise, error-free code while ensuring rigorous validation of applications. You will also play a pivotal role in guiding fellow developers and supporting the Lead 1 - Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate high-quality code independently.
• Mentor and guide other developers in best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of project designs.
• Engage in the development and integration of computer programs aligned with business needs.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing data-centric applications.
• Proficient in code refactoring, data format conversion, and managing data movement from raw to curated states.
• Expertise in creating data transformation and validation logic for reliable data processing.
• Strong grasp of streaming and batch data processing methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of various data formats, including JSON, XML, and Parquet, and data modeling techniques.
• Proven experience in shaping and transforming data into third normal form and dimensional models.
• Solid understanding of best practices for structuring and organizing Data Lake file systems to handle large data volumes.
