Job description

We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team!


As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will…:

  • Shape product positioning and messaging to ensure our solutions resonate with the market, translating technical features into clear value propositions.
  • Develop impactful sales enablement tools, including training, presentations, and resources to empower our Growth team to sell effectively.
  • Lead product launch campaigns, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from product concept through to launch and ongoing platform improvements, ensuring continuous alignment with market needs and feedback.


Compensation: $123,000 - $128,000 CAD/ year


Our Spare HQ is in Vancouver - BC, but this position is open to remote work options across Canada. If you like coming into an office, you can work from our HQ as desired, and we also provide a co-working stipend for those who wish to work in an office outside Vancouver.

About the role

  • Develop and lead product positioning and messaging frameworks, ensuring alignment with Spare’s long-term goals and the evolving market landscape.
  • Lead end-to-end product marketing efforts, from early market research and product concept validation to post-launch adoption and platform improvement initiatives.Drive market segmentation and persona development, creating targeted strategies that resonate across various product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute product launches, including campaigns, press releases, and webinars, to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Equip the Growth team with advanced sales tools, training programs, and customer-facing content to ensure successful product differentiation and higher win rates.
  • Act as a product marketing subject matter expert, supporting sales calls and industry events to represent Spare and demonstrate thought leadership in mobility trends.


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Product Marketing Manager (at least 3 years)
  • Experience working in a fast-growing SaaS company
  • Experience working with marketing to the public sector
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)


It will be considered a plus:

  • Experience working in Marketing for the public transit industry
  • Product marketing certifications, such as Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance (PMA)
  • Degree or certification in a relevant field
