Position Title: Data Automation Analyst (Excel)

 

Location: Remote LATAM

 

What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Automation Analyst to join our dynamic team in Medellín, Colombia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis using advanced data analytics techniques and tools within Microsoft Excel. This role focuses on discovering insights from large datasets and converting these insights into strategic opportunities, thereby driving data-driven decisions and business outcomes across various departments including sales, marketing, customer service, operations, and finance.

 

  • Meet regularly with users to gather and prioritize requirements for data analytics solutions.
  • Develop effective data analytics solutions based on gathered requirements.
  • Create and elaborate dashboards and reports for data visualization using Microsoft Excel.
  • Design, develop, and maintain macros and scripts to automate tasks and processes within Excel.
  • Build automation solutions to streamline data processing, analysis, and reporting tasks.
  • Implement Excel-based workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  • Design user-friendly interfaces within Excel for data input, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Train users on the functionality of developed solutions in Excel.
  • Document and report on the organizational impact of developed and adopted solutions.
  • Assist in identifying process and data gaps across the enterprise.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other team members to ensure alignment and collaboration.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Main Skills:

  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel including VBA.
  • Solid experience using Power BI
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel/macros.
  • Create custom functions and procedures to enhance Excel functionality.

  • Build automation solutions to streamline data processing and reporting tasks.
  • Implement Excel-based workflows for improved efficiency.
  • Experience with data visualization and UI-oriented solutions using Excel.
