Job description

As we grow, we're seeking experienced consultants to lead client engagements and deliver AI-powered solutions. We are looking for a DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of our cloud environments. You'll also take ownership of automation and monitoring systems, ensuring operational excellence across our infrastructure.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about system reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Docker.
  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement and manage monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Cloudwatch) to ensure service health. Define SLIs and SLOs, and create a robust incident response plan.
  • Automation: Build automation tools for system health monitoring, scaling, and performance optimization using Rundeck, Jenkins, and other automation frameworks.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Design, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and consistent delivery of applications.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure the infrastructure meets compliance standards. Assist with audits and security reviews.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide operational support for production environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for system reliability and scalability.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, ideally within a cloud-native environment (AWS preferred).
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Automation Tools: Proficient in automation with Rundeck, Jenkins, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Monitoring & Logging: Experience with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging systems (ELK, Splunk, etc.).
  • CI/CD: Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Security Awareness: Understanding of best practices around security, compliance, and audits.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution and process optimization.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
  • Knowledge of database management and monitoring.
  • Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
