Our client is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Community Consultants. We believe in setting our team up for long-term success. That’s why we’re offering 6-8+ months of hands-on training, designed to give you a deep understanding of Private Health Insurance – and unlike any other training in the industry, this program is all about taking the time to truly build your skills, so you won't get thrown onto anything you aren't ready for.

What Makes this Unique?
  • You’ll start on the Messaging Team, handling basic customer queries like updating details or changing addresses. This gives you a strong foundation and allows you to grow your confidence.
  • After 6-8 months, you’ll transition to the Community Team, where you’ll dive into hospital cover and extras, either on the phones or in-store (around 2-3 days per week).
  • As your skills develop, you’ll master more complex queries & Cover Reviews, and eventually even learn the sales aspect of health insurance – all with the careful guidance of specialised leaders who will teach you step by step.
  • This journey is all about building your knowledge gradually – no pressure, just learning at your own pace with all the support you need.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Start on the Messaging Team: Learn the ropes by handling simple customer inquiries through chat (e.g., updating addresses, general information).
  • Transition to the Community Team: After your messaging training, you’ll expand your skills, learning hospital cover, extras, and more on the phones or in-store.
  • Cover Reviews & Sales: As you grow, you’ll dive into more complex tasks, learning how to review insurance cover and eventually developing your sales skills.
  • Focus on hitting KPIs for quality, compliance, response times, and customer satisfaction, while managing multiple chat conversations at once.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Anyone with experienced in helping people.
  • We’re open to anyone with a great attitude, a desire to learn, and a willingness to follow process and compliance guidelines.
  • Must be able to ask the right questions, listen actively, and work to understand customer needs.
  • Someone who wants to grow their career in Private Health Insurance. 
Key Details:
  • Start Date: asap 
  • Work from Home: For the first 6-8 months
  • Hybrid Transition: After training, move to a mix of in-store (approx. 3 days per week, TBC) and remote work.
  • Salary: $61k per annum + 11.5% super + incentives (incentives roll in when fully trained up)
  • Benefits: 30% health insurance subsidy
  • Roster: Rotating full-time hours. Messaging team lines open from 8am-11pm Mon-Fri & 9am-9pm Sat-Sun.
  • Visa Holders Accepted: Yes! Graduates or those with 2-3 years remaining on their visa are welcome as it's a perm role!
