Project Description

Application Modernization Practice is a horizontal practice, supporting all business verticals in Luxoft.

We are looking for a Mainframe Engineer who will be able to work with various projects.

Responsibilities

The engineering lead would come in to manage a team of 5-8 while staying hands on and there's a potential to grow to about 3 teams

Skills Must Have

Advanced Experience (7+ years) in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with IBM-Z/OS Mainframe applications Experience with:

Mainframe development suite, COBOL, JCL, CICS, MQ, VSAM including both batch and real-time processes.

CICS Main view, REXX, CLIST

Proficient in FTP/NDM/File-Mover, CA-7, IBM Utilities, Intertest, File Aid, TSO/ISPF/SDSF, File Manager, Changeman, SORT

Experience with debug tools like Xpediter

Strong Database design and development skills in IMS DB, DB2, DB2 SQL and Stored Procedures

Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution

Exposure to distributed Technologies

Java, Kafka, Rest Web Service, XML are a preferred We are looking for both a Tech lead as well as an Engineering Lead.
