SAP MDG Consultant

This is a remote position.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications related to SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
  
• Design and build MDG data models, ensuring alignment with business processes in the Business Partner, Finance, and Materials Management (MM) domains.
  
• Implement MDG BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus) to facilitate business rules management within the MDG framework.
  
• Manage mass data changes in MDG effectively and efficiently.
  
• Understand and utilize the Data Replication Framework for effective data management, including the distribution of data using BD64, Partner Profiles, and RFCs.
  
• Gain familiarity with ALE (Application Link Enabling) IDocs for Master Data handling and provide support for IDoc processing and troubleshooting.
  
• Perform debugging and resolution of issues within the SAP landscape, leveraging ABAP knowledge where applicable.
  
• Work collaboratively with the support team during onboarding sessions, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.
  

• 8-10 years of experience in a techno-functional role focused on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
  
• Strong understanding of the MDG Data Model and its components.
  
• Proven expertise in Business Partner, Finance, and Materials Management (MM) domains.
  
• Experience implementing and managing MDG BRF+.
  
• In-depth knowledge of mass change management within the MDG framework.
  
• Familiarity with Data Replication Framework concepts, including data distribution mechanisms (BD64, Partner Profiles, RFCs).
  
• Understanding of ALE IDocs related to Master Data, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot IDoc issues.
  
• Basic debugging skills in SAP; an ABAP background is highly advantageous.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
