Job description

As the Marketing Coordinator for Tradeshows and Events, you will assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of trade shows and events. Your tasks will include helping with logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that all activities related to the events align with marketing goals. This role necessitates working closely with both internal teams and external partners to meet event objectives and strengthen the company's brand presence and marketing aims.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing communications team to create a communication strategy that meets event goals.
  • Oversee the selection of venues, manage contracts, and handle negotiations.
  • Support the creation and implementation of plans for trade shows and events.
  • Facilitate a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders by implementing efficient processes and providing on-site assistance.
  • Coordinate networking opportunities, seminars, and additional activities associated with the event.
  • Help with the management of post-event evaluations and reporting.
  • Support booth setup, takedown, and on-site facility management.
  • Communicate with vendors and contractors to obtain essential services and materials.
  • Organize all project-related meetings and document notes and feedback to share with the cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in coordinating and planning trade shows and events, preferably on an international scale.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with coworkers, managers and customers.
