Job Description

  • Distributor Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring alignment with company's strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth through distributors.
  • Monitor distributor performance, including sales targets, inventory levels, and marketing activities.
  • Provide regular training and support to distributors to enhance their sales capabilities.
  • Negotiate agreements, pricing, and contracts with distributors to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to meet regional and global sales goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges in assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer service) to align channel activities with company goals.
  • Track, analyze, and report distributor sales performance, offering solutions to address gaps or capitalize on opportunities.
  • Marketing Support:
  • Ensure distributors are equipped with appropriate marketing materials, technical documentation, and product information.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support distributor-led promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Customer Feedback & Product Insights:
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback from distributors to provide insights for product development and innovation.
  • Ensure that customer needs and market demands are communicated to relevant internal departments.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure that all distributor agreements and operations comply with company's policies and legal standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, distributor performance, and market trends for senior leadership.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. A technical background or relevant industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, measurement, and control products is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in channel sales, distributor management, or a related role.
  • Proven success in managing and growing distributor relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support distributors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
