Job description

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Automation Tester In Java to join our team.

Responsibilities

Work in a highly agile, engaged, and motivated software Engineering team
Execute upon our Quality Engineering strategy; including, leveraging tools, technologies, and processes for Test Automation at all levels, (e.g. Unit testing, Integration testing, System-level testing, Load testing, Performance testing, etc.)
Utilize development skills to create and run our world-class test automation system written in Java
Ability to work independently and produce code that is fault tolerant, efficient, reusable and maintainable
Demonstrate good judgment to select methods and techniques to obtain solutions and produce test plans largely intended for automation
Thoroughly test product use-cases and liaise with developers to deliver outstanding product quality
Able to explore product quality issues and triage automated test runs
Network with cross-functional teams to handle queries and escalations from internal partners and customers

Requirements

3+ years of experience with Automated Testing In Java
Experience with a commercial software product domain (e.g. SaaS, etc.) is preferred – strong programming skills are required
Knowledge of Test Automation (e.g. Unit Testing, Selenium, Web Services Testing, GUI Testing); experience with testing client applications is highly desirable
Knowledge of Web and Mobile-related technologies, (inc. Operating Systems, Web Services, Communication Protocols, etc.)
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Team-player and can-do attitude
