(Senior) Global Sales Performance Analyst

We are seeking a (Senior) Global Sales Performance Analyst to take responsibility for our B2B sales performance reporting, optimization, and business intelligence (BI) solution management, working as part of our Global B2B Sales Excellence team. If you are passionate about data reporting, generating valuable business insights, understanding data flows, and driving sales excellence in one of Europe’s largest fuel and convenience retailers, we want to hear from you. Based on the right experience and background, we will offer seniority in the position.

THE ROLE

You will play an important role in driving B2B sales analysis, reporting insights, and corrective actions to support various commercial and sales performance improvement initiatives within European and North American B2B business. The role will benchmark commercial performance and operations across business units and sales teams, identifying root causes for high/low results to leverage learning across business units. You will also support BI solutions by analyzing the impacts of different business intelligence tools and data flow strategies, ensuring that the right systems and solutions are in place to enhance decision-making.

Additionally, the role involves managing change effectively, as new IT systems or business intelligence solutions are implemented. Understanding how different BI solutions impact data flows and organizational processes will be key to recommending and executing the right technologies to meet business goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Convert big data into clear and actionable insights – including monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc reporting.

  • Support relevant reporting frameworks to enhance commercial initiatives and process improvements.

  • Suggest operational improvements to sales pipeline management and customer value optimization practices based on KPIs, analysis, and benchmarking.

  • Benchmark sales and commercial performance across business units, identifying value drivers to leverage learnings across regions.

  • Lead decision-making in resource planning and allocation through data modeling and analysis.

  • Collaborate with the IT and business teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize business intelligence tools that enhance reporting and sales pipeline management.

  • Understand and manage data flow, ensuring seamless integration of business intelligence solutions across platforms.

  • Participate in the change management process as BI solutions and other IT systems are implemented, ensuring minimal disruption and maximized benefits.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BSc or MSc in a relevant degree (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, IT, Sales, or Marketing).

  • Strong understanding of data flows, BI tools, and their organizational impacts, ideally with a background in IT project management or business analysis.

  • Proven experience in managing or implementing business intelligence solutions, with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

  • Knowledge and/or experience in B2B sales processes and CRM systems like Salesforce.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills – the ability to convey complex information in a simple, actionable format for diverse stakeholders.

  • Change management, IT project management, or business analysis skills are considered an advantage.

Team and Collaboration:

You will be a part of a team of 15 talented colleagues in three different departments, each with different responsibilities but working in close collaboration. The team meets up in person at least on quarterly basis, allowing you to stay connected and align on key initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to work hybrid, with flexibility to work from home.
