Event Program Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

Location: Rutherford, NJ area

Schedule: 4 days in-office, Fridays remote

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (overtime flexibility required)

Compensation: \(18 to \)20 per hour

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for an organized and proactive Event Program Coordinator to enhance our team. This critical role involves the coordination of events tailored for our reputable clients within the pharmaceutical sector. Although attendance at events is not required, your proficiency in engaging with pharmaceutical representatives and healthcare professionals will be vital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee event coordination for pharmaceutical clients, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and precision.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders, providing status updates and managing event timelines.
  • Respond promptly to a high volume of emails and phone inquiries, showcasing superior customer service skills.
  • Efficiently manage a substantial workload, including conducting thorough reporting and data analysis.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word and Excel (expertise in financial calculations, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP functions).
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service sectors is a plus.
